You can look up all support matrix and new patch information online these days.

Hi Haniyya,

RHEL 8.9 is currently not supported with SM9.71 p1 .

With SM9.71 p1 we added Support for

Operating System

Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.5

SM9.72 supports "Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.4, 8.6, 8.8, 8.10, 9.0, 9.2, 9.4" (see https://docs.microfocus.com/doc/Service_Manager/9.72/SupportMatrix)

SM9.80 supports "Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.8, 9.0, 9.2" (see https://docs.microfocus.com/doc/Service_Manager/9.80/SupportMatrix)

At the end RHEL 8.9 seems not to be supported by any SM release.
