Populate UserOptions3 list based on value selected useroption1 and useroption2 (Multi-Select)

Hello Team,

Happy Thursday!!!

We have an requirement for configuring Offering based on below use case:

we have 3 UserOptions. Useroptions1 (List), UserOptions2 (Multi-Select List), UserOptions3 (List)

Based on value selected in Useroptions1, list of Useroptions2 is populated. For eg, If UO1 is Finance, UO2 list will populate with Credit, Debit, Enquiry (This has been achieved using Rendering Rule -> Defined Suggested values by a list to list mapping.

I need help to achieve configuration of UserOptions3: Here, based on Value selected in list UO1 and multi-select list UO2, List of UO3 should be populated. For Eg. UO1 is Finance and UO2 is Credit, Then UO3 should be populated with Accounting in list.

But as UO2 is multi-select list, if UO1 is Finance and UO2 is selected with Credit and Enquiry, then UO3 list should show Accounting and Support. below list is for an idea how it will be like

please help how to achieve list populated of UO3. Or if there is any solution with custom table which supports multiple value selection in UO2, then please suggest.

Hello,

Have you tried with a secondary "Defined Suggested values by a list to list mapping" mapping between UO2 and UO3?

Thanks for the reply.

Using "Defined Suggested values by a list to list mapping" for UO2 and UO3 was providing wrong value. eg, when I am selecting Finance in UO1 and Credit in UO2, then UO3 should show "Accounting". But with this solution, UO3 shows Accounting, System Manager and Treasury Change. Thats why we want solution to consider value of UO1 and UO2 both while populating UO3 field values.

My understanding was that the second rule needs to control a mapping between UO2 and UO3. If this is not the case and you need the rule to control the UO3 as a combination of UO1 and UO2, then you need to add multiple rules with different conditions (combinations of values for UO1 and UO2) and have the rule as a mapping of UO3 to itself.

Just for example I had given few values of UO1 and UO2 in this discussion. But in actual UO1 has around 10-15 values and for each UO1, UO2 has around 25-30 values.

adding separate rule for each condition will not be a good idea.

There is no rule that supports mapping the combined values of two ENUMs to control the values of a third ENUM. If this is a requirement, please submit an idea.
