Authenticate user account with they email in SMAx with LDAP

Our customer has SMAx integrated with LDAP but I need to know if is possible authenticate the user account with their email 

The plan is use a windows cloud application to connect to LDAP by email and after have the access to SMAx

Could you help me? Please
