how to disable transition buttons on the Approval page

We have SMAX 2022.11 running in our environment

On the Approval page, once a Change Request (CR) is approved, transition button 'Reopen' is displayed. Additionally, once a CR is denied, both 'Reopen' and 'Approve' buttons are displayed.

why these buttons remain enabled after a CR is approved or denied? Any specific reason?

Also how can we disable these transition buttons on the Approval page?

Hello

The workflow has these manual transitions out of the box. If they are not something you would like to expose, you can make changes and remove them.

Manual transitions are locked in Approval process. How to delete or diable

Good point, I forgot the transitions are locked. Deleting some of these transitions can compromise the entire approval process

The only option would be to add a validation rule preventing the transition, the button will still be there.

What is the logic behind enabling the button "Reopen" after it has been approved or denied? Any idea?
