Hi Fatima,
The way that the Add dropdown works is dependent on what you have modeled especially if Native SACM is enabled. When wanting to add a Device or System Element a lookup is done based upon the Service that has been assigned to the Incident. If no Service Model has been designed then nothing will be returned.
As you'll see here I've got a very simple Model, Business Service -> Business Application -> Running Software:
Now when I use the IT Enterprise Service Management business service for an Incident I can assign any System Element that is related to the two running software as part of my service model.
The List Picker option allows you to select devices etc that have not been associated to a Service Model. That way you can still choose a Device that you need to link if its outside of the scope of the Business Service.
Thanks,
Dave
Yes once we done all the mapping it worked. Thank you alot.
