SMAX Servers used for Optic DL

We are upgrading all our Tools servers including SMAX.
In place of NPS and OBR, i.e for reporting we are installing optic DL.
For this we require a master worker setup. Can we use the SMAX masters and workers with increased workers or masters and share it with the Optic DL??
