Automatic Approval Creation in Knowledge Article

Hi,

Currently, in SMAX knowledge articles, the approver can be manually added during the creation of a new article before it is sent to the review state. Can this process be automated?

    Hi Siriyala,

    You could define the approval definition within Studio for the Article Record.

    When you deploy the SMAX demo data for instance there are some Approval definitions provided for some of the other Record types. Here is one example for the Change Record:

    With that you could define the relevant User or Group that you want to use to approve the Article and save you having to add them manually.

    For Article you would see:

    Then build of the Approval definition using the required strategy that you need to use such as one must apply etc.
