Reporting on future Approvals

Dear Experts,

I have a reporting requirement where I want to display the future approval task/group for Request Module.

Basically as per the Request Approval Plan, if there are 2 levels of approval, when the 1st level get approved, 2nd level approval tasks will get generated and assigned to group/user.

As a reason in approval task records, 2nd level approval will be missing. Is there a possibility to report the future level approvals and its group/member details with SMAX Reporting capability ?

Below Use case: BU manager approve (1st level)

IT Manager approve (2nd level)

This will generate approval task record as below

    Hi Dipin,

    I might not be quite understanding what you'd like to report on. If a Task hasn't been generated yet then there would be nothing in the system to report on. From the request itself you can see the Approval process and where its currently at like you've shown above. If the first approval gets rejected then the second approval will never get triggered. Once the first approval is approved then the second approval will be generated and can then be reported on as it exists in the system. What is it that you'd like to see at this point?

    Yes from the request itself we can see the current approval and future approval, but in reporting perspective or when exporting records it may not be possible to show the future or current approval. I want to know whether this can be achieved from Request or Task level SMAX reporting capability.

    The approvals are not instantiated until the flow gets to them, until then you have just a placeholder task. Keep in mind for some approval task plans certain approvals don't even get instantiated if you have decision trees.
