I am very happy to announce the general availability of Serena Request Center Mobile Client version 5.2. Completely rewritten compared to the 4.5 client, this new native mobile application is fully supported on Apple iOS and Google Android smartphones. Users with this native mobile client can connect to SRC to perform common actions like submitting a new request, checking the status of an existing service request or performing approvals.
The 5.2 client includes:
• A new simplified mode that displays only the critical information necessary for you to view, submit or approve a request allowing you to focus on what needs to be done.
• A user experience native to the device for instant familiarity with controls.
• Rich Text editing capability on supported fields so you can enter and format data that is emphasized for maximum readability and understanding.
• Support for form actions created by process app designers.
This mobile client can be used with any supported version of Serena Service Manager running on SBM 10.1.5.x or higher, including SBM 11.0 and SSM 5.2.1, and is available for both iOS and Android devices.
