OO and MQ

Hi,

is there a way to connect OO with IBM's webSphere MQ?

  • There are some Accelerator Pack actions which connect to Websphere however that is more for just interacting with the virtual servers.

I know WMQ provides a command line tool which can perform a lot of work so you can build OO flows which interact with it.

Alternatively if WMQ provides an API you can use with Java or .NET you could build your own iActions.

  • In addition to Java and .Net there are many other programming languages, object-oriented or procedural you can use with MQ. MQ also provide a RESTful API which may be an easy way to integrate depending on what you need with OO.
