Installing Service Manager 9.30 on a Windows Server 2012 R2

Hi Experts,

On the compatibility matrix of SM9.33, it states that it is compatible with Windows Server 2012 R2.

I am doing a fresh new build of SM on a Windows Server2012 R2 for an SM9.33.

I've done this before multiple times on a Windows 2008 servers.

The way I do it is:

- Install the SM9.30 GAC

- Apply the patch SM9.33

I tried installing the SM9.30 GAC on a Windows Server 2012 R2 but I am getting an error.  I have attached the error message that I am getting.

Is it because SM9.30 is not compatible with 2012 R2?  But how will I be able to set up an SM9.33 on a  2012 R2 OS?  The client prefers the 2012 OS for security audit purposes.  I went to the software download website of HP for SM and all I can find for downloads are SM9.40, SM9.30 and SM7.11.

I have logged a case to HP but haven't receive a reply yet.  In the meantime.....

Would really appreciate any ideas/thoughts on this one.

Thanks and Regards.
