Good afternoon Service Manager Experts,
I am in the process of implementing Smart Analytics in a production environment. Is there a way to disable Smart Search while the indexing process is working on the initial load of the customer's data into IDOL? I have reviewed the FAQ from 4/7/2017 and the closest thing that I have found is on page 36, "Question: How do I disable filters in context-aware search if the search is slow?" The response was No. Based on this response I am concluding that there is no way to disable Smart Search GUI related to Smart Analytics while the index process is running in the background.
I can hear my customers complaining that the search is not working as expected after go-live.
