Is it possible to apply a Template when creating an Incident ticket via Web Services?

  • I don't have an SM instance handy, but I would think you could create a custom action that calls a Process which could do whatever you'd like, then expose that action in the extaccess, then send in that type of applyTemplateIncidentRequest...

    But really, if you're opening the ticket with a SOAP/REST call anyway, why would you not simply specify the field values in the createIncidentRequest (especially if many values won't change from request to request, since you're thinking of a template)? Applying a template seems redundant, since you can send the values in the request itself.
