How to send out an email notification to tech when a customer leaves an update on ESS ticket

Hello,

How can I send out an email notification to tech when a customer leaves an update on ESS ticket. I'm having trouble getting the workflow to send out the email.

I see the value update action and update action ess, but I can get the workflow working. 

Any advice?  I've attached a picture of my workflow at the moment.
