Upgrade SM 9.52 P7 to supported version!

Hello Team,

In our org, we came to know that our version (Service Manager 9.52 P7) is anymore supported by MF and we have been advised to upgrade. We really needed to know what is the last version that is supported by MF in order to upgrade our SM 9.52 version. Please advise

Hello,

The latest version of Service Manager is the version 9.72.

I always suggest to use the latest version for an upgrade.

Hello Louie,

Thanks for the response.

Sure we will plan to upgrade to the latest version. Is there a step by step guide on how to perform this upgrade. Because last upgrade was done by a different team who is not currently with us. This time we have to perform this on our own. The MF docs provide installation steps. But I am not sure upgrade is actuall a fresh install of new version or not? If so what all backups needed to be taken from old version etc are my questions. If you can guide through it will be great help. Thankd. Once again!
