Increase value size of "Windows Device Driver" in CI Type Manager

Hello:

UCMDB 24.2.

We can´t increase the value size of windows device driver to 200 (default value is 150)

It throws me an error "You are not permitted to update this class"

We can change this value in other attributes of this CI type (windowsdevicedriver\Friendlyname, windowsdevicedriver\HardwareID....)

Any idea?

Hi Chuchi,

There is no OOTB attribute called 'windows device driver' under the windowsdevicedriver CI type. Is it a custom field or another field?

The attribute is DeviceID in windows device driver

When I tried to change the size for the DeviceID field in the UCMDB UI (Applet UI), it reported the same error. But I can change it successfully via the CMS UI (HTML-based UI).

Could you do it in the CMS UI?
