Scan file physical disk vendor name and model

I can see disk device serial number, model and vendor in the scan file, but only serial number shows up in CMS.

Is it possible to get the disk vendor and model into the diskdevice modelname field in CMS?

    Hello Luke,

    yes, the script can be enhanced.

    can you paste the XML part of the scan file where you have the SN, model and vendor. I can try to find something similar and maybe there is a low hanging fruit on the script side to provide.

    In Scan file it is shown at: Storage Data\Devices - Device Name, Device Vendor, Device Serial Number.

    Which XML do you mean? We use Inventory Discovery By Scanner job which calls InventoryDiscoveryViaScanFile.xml

    Serial number is already being brought into CMS, I think using DIsk Data\Physical Disk Data\Physical disk serial number field.
