VMWare VIM uCMDB

 Hi Guys

 

Regarding Discovering VMWare VCenter version 5.x

 

The connection via VIM credentials, where do you set or find these connection details needed?

 

As the normal VMWare VCenter Portal page credentials do not work

 

I put the jar files in as well as edited the config file to use version 5.x to discover as stated in many forums but still we cannot even connect using VIM COnnection

    Confirm with the VM team if SSL is required and verify net sec rules are in place.

    Make sure the VMware Running Software is discovered as Running Software is an override parameter.

    The credential needs System.Read and Global.Licenses permissions.

     

    For VMware vCenter Connection by VIM, the credential needs to execute ServiceContent: AboutInfo

     

    For VMware vCenter Topology by VIM, the credential needs to execute:
