uCMDB Tip : uCMDB fails to start with error "No available port to bind to in range [7800 .. 7800]"

How to start the uCMDB service when it fails to start and logs below given error message in wrapper.log?

               INFO   | jvm 4    | 2015/04/19 16:32:51.962 | WrapperSimpleApp: at com.mercury.topaz.cmdb.server.

 

 

Solution :   Reboot of the Server on which UD application is installed is the solution to start the application.

              

                        uCMDB service goes down due to reasons like OutOfMemory or the Service being hung. At this time the related uCMDB process may not run and is not visible in the Task Manager.

               However Operating System will still have an entry of uCMDB process and hence when we try to start the service, it fails with error "No available port to bind to in range [7800 .. 7800]"

 

                     This is the reason why restart of the Server is suggested.
