How to change CI Type for an object

We are using UCMDB 2021.11 and I want to get all our Cisco Air Wireless Access Points reclassed from "Net Device" to "Wireless AP" in the CI Type. Any suggestions on the best possible way to achive this?

Hello Stig,

if the Wireless AP nodes are coming from Discovery then you can create a normalization rule to change their CIT from net_device to wireless ap.

Thank you for the feedback, It does come from a Cisco Prime discovery so I will try a normalization rule. Does this only effect new discovered nodes?

It affects all nodes coming through the probe no matter if they are newly discovered or not.
