Currently when TQL results contain more then 100K CIs TQL is not executed and error message occur.
We have found a workaround of increasing that number to 500K, but in the largest installation of UCMDB that we have it is normal case when TQL can contain more results and we haven't any obvious criteria to filter the results.
To solve the problem we suggest invite pagination for TQL results that allow display TQL's result with any numbers of CI.
Also it could be useful in case of debug and development of TQL when We cann't suggest what number of CIs will be returned but need to see instances to understand how we can modify the TQL. Such feature would be useful for UCMDB any size not only large.
This idea has been implemented in CMS 2020.08. Check out the release notes for details. Currently available for exporting Inventory details within the CMS UI, and will be added to all other exports as we improve their implementation in the CMS UI.
