Support Tip: Incorrect Discovery of Windows 2019 OS in UCMDB 10.33 x

Environment

UCMDB 10.33.CUPx, No platform dependency


Situation

It was noticed  that servers with OS win2019 were not discovered properly by the Inventory Discovery by Scanner job  in UCMDB versions 10.33 x

Neither the Description nor DiscoveredOSName attributes were updated with the correct values from discovery and had values reflecting an older OS (eg Windows 2016) instead 


Resolution
 

The main point to be made here is that versions 10,33x are no longer fully supported and customers should find this issue resolved by an upgrade to the latest version.
