Environment

UCMDB 2022.05 (issue is specific to this version), upgraded from 2021.11.

Situation

After upgrade to UCMDB 2022.05 CITs cannot be modified from the CIT Manager (IE adding attributes, changing attributes). Creating new CITs is possible but modifying existing ones is not.

Resolution

Please note this is a workaround and Micro Focus Support are working to resolve the issue in the next versions. Issue / workaround is for this version specific.

1. Stop UCMDB server
2. Go to JMX console
3. Search for setGlobalSettingValue
4. Modify the value of "urm.history.is.enabled" to false
5. Restart the server
6. You can now modify existing CITs
7. Stop server again
8 Modify the value of "urm.history.is.enabled" back to true
9. Restart the server.
