Marketplace Login Help

As of August 2019, Marketplace accepts both trial logins, sometimes called Control Tower accounts and support logins called Access Manager accounts.

If you aren't sure what kind of account you have, you will need to determine this first. 

Control Tower accounts can login here.  If you know you have a Control Tower account, you can use "forgot password" if you need to recover your password or unlock your account. Control Tower accounts use your email address as your account name.

Access Manager accounts can login here.  If you know you have an Access Manager account, you can use "forgot password" or "login assistance" if you need to recover your password or unlock your account.  Access Manager accounts use a username and NOT an email address as your account name.

Micro Focus employees should continue to login as they currently do, or use your shortname, SSO password and check, "I am a Micro Focus employee" to login with your corporate account.  Employees will see their Micro Focus "short name" as their account name.

Frequently asked Questions:

  1. Why do I have to login to download free apps?  The reason all users need to login to download is for governance and compliance.  Control Tower and Access Manager accounts contain important safeguards to ensure compliance with the export regulations of the United States, so it is required you are logged in with one of these accounts to download from Marketplace.
  2. Why can't I login? If you created a Control Tower account and verified your email, you can sign into Marketplace.  If you aren't sure, visit the Control Tower login here and test you can login successfully.  Once you can, navigate back to Marketplace and you should be logged in.  If you created an Access Manager account and verified your email, you can sign into Marketplace.  If you aren't sure, visit the Access Manager login here and test you can login successfully.  Once you can, navigate back to Marketplace and you should be logged in.  
  3. I still can't login, what do I do?  If all else fails, create a new Access Manager account here.  
  4. I never received the email confirmation, what do I do? If you tried to create a Control Tower account and did not receive the account confirmation email, please visit the Control Tower support page here for more help.
