Is it possible to add data table to automated tests ?

Hello,

I was wondering if it was possible to add data tables on automated tests, to my knowledge I don't think that it is possible but I saw today that whenever I run a test suite, on Jenkins the field testsToRun is shaped like this :

{"version":"v2","testsToRun":[{"packageName":"","className":"","testName":"test1","parameters":{}},{"packageName":"","className":"","testName":"test2","parameters":{}},{"packageName":"","className":"","testName":"test3","parameters":{}}]}

In this Json I can see that there's a "parameters" attribute, and I don't know where this field applies on Octane ? I think that this applies on an automated test but I can't find where ...

I used a GET request on automated tests with the HPECLIENTTYPE header but I don't see anywhere a "parameters" attribute.

Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated

Sincerly,

Hi

The parameters element is currently only for UFT tests and contains the UFT's external data table.

This is the only use.

If you need this for other frameworks of auto tests, please post an idea on the idea exchange.

Thank you

Ayelet.
