Ability to Update Phase when lower level entity Phase progresses

Via the Rules configuration, we would like the ability to update the phase of a higher level entity when a lower level entity phase changes.

Example:  When a Task associated to a User Story moves to In Progress, the User Story phase should be reflected as In Progress.  Same thing for a Feature.  When a related User Story moves to In Progress, we would like the Feature to reflect In Progress.

In this example: Automatically set a user story to done when all its child tasks are done.
Same can be done for In Progress.

If there are any limitations with this functionality which prevents you from using it, please let us know.

Great idea.

And a wonderful response, I would like to see it as an OOtB solution though. Having the 'smarts' in the application where if any child item is within a particular metaphase, the parents status is updated. Would help remove some of the double handling and add to the usability.

The rules support it as mentioned. 
No plans yet to have it OOTB.

Should be possible the other way as well - changing to a certain phase on a backlog item can update phases on tasks as well....to make life easier
