Octane provides the possibility to switch off the language selection in the GUI via SiteParameter 'HIDE_LANGUAGE_DROPDOWN=true'.

Is there also the possibility to switch on only dedicated languages like English and German, in order to provide only two languages instead of 7 (which is difficult to maintain all of them).

I think it is not so difficult to implement this via a new SiteParameter like 'SHOW_LANGUAGE_DROPDOWN=EN, DE' (for sure the other languages should be also possible)

Can you explain why this is important?

This can become important in the moment when we start to rename labels/listboxvalues (not available yet in GUI, but database can handle this going forward).

To rename this entities/labels/listboxes for all available languages (at the moment 7) can become time consuming, especially if we consider that we have probably not the knowledge for all available languages.

Therefore the idea is to support only some of the languages and not all. But we have to make sure that not some of our users in China or Japan change to their local language and get actually wrong label or listbox names, because we were not able to maintain all of them.
