Octane - Technical Problem and Resolution fields must be mandatory

Currently the Octane cases can be closed without any entries in Technical Problem and Resolution fields. This makes it difficult for others to understand the problem and resolution.

Hence the Technical Problem and Resolution fields in Octane must be made mandatory.

Usually you would use Business Rules to make fields required.
This did not work for you in case of these fields ?

We have added user defined fields called Defect cause and Rejection cause to track this for closed and rejected cases - in addition business rules to enforce them to be filled out

Thanks Jesper.

1. Does this also apply to the cases which are in "Fixed" (equivalent to "Solution Delivered" status in ALM) because once the SD is closed, it will auto-close the CPE incident.

2. To which release of Octane will this be implemented or is it already implemented?"
