export / import shared space configuration

export / import shared space configuration

It would be very helpfully if you can export the complete shared space configuration: Entities: Rules, Fields, Workflow, Forms, Lists. Then you can import these configuration in another space.

This would save a lot of manual copying work.

Hi,

Thank you for your feedback.

R&D are currently working on providing this functionality.

As part of this planned functionality, Octane will provide a way to export shared space level customization and create a new shared space from an import file of the exported customization.

can you provide some more details in regards to your use case? do you need this functionality to create a staging environment?

Thanks,

Sigal

Hi,

yes, i Need this functionality to create a staging Environment. But I Need this functionality also for two or more shared spaces in the same Environment. At the Moment we have to shared spaces in production Environment: One for Scrum workspaces and another for SAFe workspaces. But the customization of These both spaces  is the same in most parts.

Furthermore, it would be very helpful if you could customize the export of a shared space configuration before importing it into another space. This would allow you to easily customize the parts of the customization that are different.

regards

Christian
