Configure uniform display settings for all the workspace users without using favorites

Jump to solution

Hi Team,

Is it possible to configure uniform display settings for all the workspace users. We can do it with favorites, but while switching between the modules, favorites needs to be chosen again and again. Is there a way by which we can pre-configure display settings (filter, selected columns, sort order, and grouping) for all the users with in workspace without using favorites? Are there any api's which can perform bulk UI Customizations?

Thanks

There isn't a way to configure a view for all users, mainly because than users won't be able to customize the views to see what they need.

If u want a way to to quickly switch to specific favorite when ever u go into specific module, each user can do that by creating a bookmark to that favorite by selecting favorite and using favorite manu to copy the link to that favorite.

Now if u have a bookmark to specific favorite, u can click that to swithc directly to it, instead of switching to the module and than selecting the favorite.

Also each module will remember it's last state, so if user doesn't change any filtering configuration, when ever they switch between the modules they should remain on same favorite.
