Betreff: Octane - Requirement module - Few queries:

1) How can we implement version control for Requirement document .

There is no version control functionality available in the requirements module in current ALM Octane version 12.60.41. The only thing you can do is to export the whole requirements document to Word or PDF and put it into an archiving system to keep that version unchanged.

2) Can we change the RD - requirements after approved ? how these changes can be tracked ?

Yes, you can change the RD - requirements after approved. This is depending on your roles and access rights settings. You can track those changes in the requirements history tab and/or activate notification so that you will get notified if anyone is changeing your requirements.

To open the history tab open the requirement by e.g. clicking the requirement ID in the author or manage mode. This will open all the requirement details. You can find the "HISTORY" tab there as well as the "FOLLOW" button which allows you to follow changes made by anyone to this requirements. You can choose between email notifications and/or "My Work" which will show up then directly in ALM Octane on your My Work page.
