Add scope item as field in defect

Currently our project is updated off a template and I don't want to have to keep updating the All Projects list every time we have a new release and pushing the new list to the ALM project.  I wanted to use the Scope items at the release level to list out what projects are going into the release.  Is their a way to add this field to defects like the release and test cycles field?

Hello,

 

Yes, While logging defects you can have these fields "Target Cycle" and "Target Release".

Also, these fields can be made required.

Got Customization >> Project Entities>> Defect>> System Fields>> Select Target cycle and select the "Required" checkbox if you want to mandate the same.

If you want to add any user defined field, then you can add a new field under User fields folder and set its properties with the options available.
