Change the ready to test status in defect.

what is about the “Ready to Test” status?

According to us, it should be displayed under “Not Completed” following the logic 2 as described in your email below

Please let us know if we can change this? And if yes, Could you please send us the all related documents for the changes

Hello

Unfortunately I cannot see the email you are doing reference, but I think maybe someone created a new status. You can check it by going to:

1- Tools

2- Customize

3- Project Lists

4- Status

On the right side, you should see as default:

  • Blocked
  • Failed
  • N/A
  • No Run
  • Not completed
  • Passed

If you can see Ready to Test, is because someone created the new status.

Thank you

Regards.

Manuel Rivera.

Hi,

I have added "Ready to test" in the list "Status"

Project Lists -> Status -> Ready to test.

Even though "Ready to test" is the first step, it gets counted as "Passed" in QC. That is its overall status is displayed as "Passed". Users see the overall status as "PASSED" and never realize there is an “READY TO TEST” step left out.

When the test is in "Ready to test" state, the overall status should not be displayed as "Passed".

Please let me know what can be done for this.

Thanks.
