Client was not authenticated

Hi,

We are facing error "530 5.7.1 Client was not authenticated" when we try to send defects by email.

Error happens not only when trying to send by email , but also to “send  email to  assigned user” and “send by email to detected by”.

Has any encountered the same before?

Is it possible for you access Site Admin on this machine and try sending a test mail from the same machine ?

See if thats working correctly.

And is this issue happening accross multiple machines and multiple users ( even TDAdmin users ) ?

Regards,

As DDM_Automation says try sending test mail from SiteAdmin.

530 is an SMTP error message please search through google and get the SMTP setup properly. Based on oracle forums this looks like certificate related issue.
