Execution error when trying to execute scripts on ALM[OLE error 800403EA]

Jump to solution

I'm trying to execute scripts on ALM 11, and the trial verion of my UFT is 11.5
I have no idea what's wrong with my UFT or ALM
b/c I can execute scripts in Test Plan but when I execute scripts in Test Lab
it ends up popping up a window and says [OLE error 800403EA]

btw, I work on Windows 7 with both UAC and Firewall OFF,
also tried on Windows XP SP3, but still didn't work

is anybody out there who can help me with it?

How did you "execute scripts in Test Plan"?  That should not be possible.  Do you have the UFT add-in for ALM installed?  In UFT, have you set the option to allow other HP products to run scripts.  Can you execute scripts in UFT?

Okay, problem resovled, this error is caused by the Version Control of ALM,

it might be a bug, I now turn it off then my scripts can be executed in Test Lab

Thanks all the same
