How do I set a users field to be selectable in the Group items list?

My users field can't be found.
String, 255, None

Is there a possibility in "Project Entities?

Or do I have to set by function in the script?

User defined String type field cannot be entertained in Group by condition. But, still can set up in filter condition.

but I have found an other user field with the same attributes and which occures in the Group items list.
( BG_USER_20, label Rejected )

Couldn' t find something special in the script.

As far as I know there is no manual control over which fields can and cannot be used for grouping.

I suggest experimenting with the types of user-defined fields until you work out which ones can be grouped.

@ribalm When you similar attibutes, does that means user defined filed type is String in BG_USER_20? 

Are you saying BG_USER_20 is Strying type UD field, it is visible or availble in Grouping list but other UD field of String type is not availble or visble for Grouping?
