How to add search area in fields of type Lookup List that don't hold sub nodes?

Hi,

Search in dropdown field is enabled only when the tree contains sub nodes values (chieldren).

Dose anyone know how to enable search area when the tree is flat ?

The search area in flat Look up lists is not provide within the customization field scope. The workaround would be to use a root folder within the list to have the search area .

I would encourage you if you really need this to raise an enhancement request with HPE Support team.
