QC 10.0 Rename user utility

I have the need to rename a user id. In earlier versions of QC there are utilities available to do this, RenameQCUser_90.exe. The utility updates all the tables with the new user id.

I opened a SR with HP and got back a reply that there is not a utility for QC 10 or 11.

Has anyone encountered this yet and if so is there a utility compatible for 10.0 and 11.0.

I do not think that there is a utility to do it if the HP support does not have it.

When I need to rename user. I do it like this. I know that it is not so good but it is good anough:
1) create new user with new name
2) reassign all entities to the new user
rename all fields that has the old user name
3) delete the old user if all is fine.

We did rename 100s of users in QC 10 using RenameQCUser_90.exe It works perfectly fine

here it is...

note that this was designed for version 9, so any new tables / columns that were recently added in ALM 11 wont be fixed by this utility (eg. the Version control VC tables):

This Tool doesn't work on ALM. Is there anyother solution ? I want to rename 50 user ID's.
