QC Transaction Log is Full

Every once in a while my customers are getting an error preventing them from logging in to QC. It says the transaction log is full. I've been dealing with the error thus far by running the following query:

BACKUP LOG dbname_db WITH TRUNCATE_ONLY
DBCC SHRINKFILE(dbname_db ,2)

Is there any way to increase the default size of the transaction log so that these errors happen less often?

I have the same issue and have not received any guidence from HP on how to manage this.

It is pretty much a given that this is occuring across the QC community.
