QC11 - SRLF_SIZE in SMART_REPOSITORY_LOGICAL_FILE

Jump to solution

Hi there,

I have just executed the query below to return the size of a project's attachments folder in the Smart Reposity:

SELECT SUM(CAST(SRLF_SIZE AS NUMBER))
FROM TDAFT_PC_TD1_CL_REG_QC11.SMART_REPOSITORY_LOGICAL_FILE
WHERE SRLF_PARENT_PATH LIKE '%.\attach\%'

The result was: 18624799332.

What is the measurement unit and format of that number?

Thanks

Hi mrobr,

The value in the SRLF_SIZE table from which you get the results about the whole 'attach' folder is in bytes.

This would mean that the result that you received is in bytes and you should convert it to megabytes or gigabytes for more convenience. Using an online converter you can see that 18624799332 bytes are equal to approximately 17762 MB or 138.8 GB. This means that the project is a really large one and it contains many attachments. I would recommend you to check what attachments may be deleted in order to decrease the reprository's size. Hope this information helps.

Thanks,

Hristo
