Required Elasticsearch privileges

Hi,

we are trying to set up TLS protocol encryption between Octane and Elasticsearch. Currently it is working when using the "elastic" superuser for the connection.

Since we would like to make it more secure we want die create a specific user in Elasticsearch for the connection. Currently I am trying to find out which privileges are needed for the user role in Elasticsearch. Sadly I haven't found anything in the Micro Focus documentation.

Anybody has a clue?

Currently I have defined the following role which is working but I guess is pretty similar to superuser and I want to limit it more.

octane:
  cluster: [ 'all' ]
  indices:
    - names: [ '*' ]
      privileges: [ 'all' ]

You may have better luck posting this in the Octane forum

Thanks for the advice. I already did it but somehow I landed here first when I searched for the topic. Since I am fairly new here I did not know about the other form at first.
