System wide settings database in 12.55

Jump to solution

We recently upgraded from 12.01 to 12.55 and now I can't use my query to get all users.

SELECT USER_NAME FROM qcsiteadmin_db.td.Users WHERE US_IS_ACTIVE = 'Y' AND US_IS_SYSTEM = 'N' Order by USER_NAME ASC

It seem the name of the qcsiteadmin_db may have changed in the new version.  if so, how do I figure out what it is?

Not sure if it matters, but I also noticed that instead of connecting to http we are now https

Thanks,

Mike

If you kept the default name for the Site Admin DB during installation, another reason could be if you went from SQL Server authentication to Windows authentication. In that case you should change "qcsiteadmin_db.td.Users" to "qcsiteadmin_db.dbo.Users".

Hi,

Unless you change it during installation, it will be qsiteadmin_db nly. Otherwise, check in SiteAdmin.xml file for the siteadmin database name.

Thanks Jan, that was the problem.

Select * from qcsiteadmin_db.dbo.Users works great.
