Want to execute LoadRunner Scenario from QC

Hi

 

I have connected QC and LR 11.0, I am also able to save LoadRunner Scenarios , scripts, runtime data, in QC. Now I want to schedule a LR test from QC.

 

When I got to Test Lab >> execution grid >> and say Run All >> giving Localhost as the machine for executing the scenario >> this is the same machine where LR Controller is installed >> I am getting an error that server  can't not be connected.

 

I have also tried invoking the HP LoadRunner>> tools >> agent process .

 

Please let me know if I have left out any important pre requisite for scheduling this test from  QC.

I don't know about LoadRunner, but in QuickTest Pro there is an option that has to be set to allow other HP products to launch the tests. This has to be set for QC to launch a QTP test. Maybe LoadRunner has a similar setting?

It is true you can run loadrunner scenarios saved in Test Plan and executed in Test Lab just like any other test. Also check in Site Configuration that you have a Parameter LR_CANRUN with value set to Y.
