<(ALM) Support Tip> Restart ALM service using Windows Task Scheduler
If you schedule your ALM Service to restart every night usign Task Scheduler, the restart won't be successful every time. Manual restart will work. This is a custom environment and the changes should be tested first in a Test Environment. The following is not supported, but it's given as a help.
You can find the following errors on the wrapper.log:
- Startup failed: Timed out waiting for a signal from the JVM.
- JVM did not exit on request, terminated.
To fix it, you'll need to add the following line to the wrapper.conf:
NOTE: check that only one line needs to be added.
Then, you'll need to restart manually the ALM Service.
