<(ALM) Support Tip> What is the password encryption algorithm?

The user passwords are stored using a secure one way hash.

Database credentials are stored using a two way cipher, based on 256byte codebook.

Additional data used for de- and encryption is hardcoded. We cannot give further information on the exact algorithms used, as that is sensitive information.

Communication between client and application server is based on a proprietary algorithm. If security is an issue we recommend securing the communication with SSL.

Regards,

Alvaro.
