How to post xml to GroupWise Web?

I work with Access Manager but am not very well versed.

I would like to know how to send the correct information to GroupWise Web, the new GroupWise web client.

I used Firefox to capture the traffic sent to the server, here is the POST method, "Request payload."

<?xml version="1.0"?>
<ns0:Envelope xmlns:ns0="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/"><ns0:Header/><ns0:Body><ns1:loginRequest xmlns:ns1="http://schemas.novell.com/2005/01/GroupWise/groupwise.wsdl"><ns1:auth xsi:type="PlainText" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"><ns2:username xmlns:ns2="http://schemas.novell.com/2005/01/GroupWise/types">dbenjamin</ns2:username><ns2:password xmlns:ns2="http://schemas.novell.com/2005/01/GroupWise/types">Super Fancy Password</ns2:password></ns1:auth><ns1:language>en-us</ns1:language><ns1:version>1.11</ns1:version><ns1:application>gwsoap.js</ns1:application><ns1:userid>true</ns1:userid><ns1:system>true</ns1:system></ns1:loginRequest></ns0:Body></ns0:Envelope>

I am also attaching the complete packet captured by Firefox in "har" format.

  • Is form injection the way to send this information, if so how?
  • There can be OpenAuth used internally should I try capturing and replicating that?
  • If these are not the best avenues to purse what should I be looking at?

Thank you for your time and any direction or help you can provide is greatly appreciated.

There is TID for Groupwise SSO with Access Manager. Can you check this : https://support.microfocus.com/kb/doc.php?id=7022808

Thanks but that's for "WebAccess" not "Web."  Have to love marketing.

I have that solution working with our existing WebAccess, but it's end of life.

Can AccessManager Version 4.5.3.0-117, create a POST packet with the above XML?

I don't think NAM can directly post xml. I have done some similar stuff for other web pages by injecting custom javascript into login page but it is dirty and prone to errors.

I think this questions should be addressed by Groupwise team, because they have broken SSO with new web client. It is like many other stuff when reworking a product leaves out some very important functionalities (I expect similar to happen when replacing iManager with Identity Console...)

As Sebastijan replied you should raise the SR with Groupwise team.
