Modifying Custom Logout page on AM4 Appliance

Hi all.
I'm attempting to rebrand / modify the login and logout page for the
AM4.01 Appliance.
I have completed the login page (I've previously done this with AM3, so
not too difficult).

However, I'm having no luck modifying the logout page/s
I have tried following the instructions here, (which are listed under
the AM4 non-appliance pages)
http://tinyurl.com/mrv72p8

I have edited the page at /opt/novell/nids/lib/webapp/jsp/nidp.jsp, but
it seems the logout banner images are coming from
/opt/novell/nesp/lib/webapp/jsp/nidp.jsp
Either way, nothing I do to either file seems to make a difference.
I have tried inserting some dummy text, or changing the <title> or the
page, but it doesn't matter.

Am I missing something simple?

Also, is there an easy way to trigger the logout page (for testing)
withiut logging in, and then logging out, which gets tiresome after the
100th time ..

Cheers.

Hi mickers,
if your looking to change the branding/look of the logout message when
https://nesp.company.com/AGLogout is called you need to look at changing
/opt/novell/nesp/lib/webapp/jsp/logoutSuccess.jsp

Also I find from time to time when you edit/save the JSP's the changes
are not reflected when they are called.
In this case try touching the file with the command:
touch /opt/novell/nesp/lib/webapp/jsp/logoutSuccess.jsp

Yes. After you change the file you should clear the work directory.
The nidp.jsp on the MAG is what is called by AGLogout which isn't clear in the docs.

Sadly, no, there is not as the page doesn't render completely through the nidp.jsp unless you were logged in.
You can see the logoutSuccess.jsp however but that is only the middle frame.

Will, thanks for the reply.
Can you point me to the 'work directory' that needs clearing when I
modify the file?

Look in:
/opt/novell/nam/idp/work/Catalina/localhosts/nidp

substitute idp with esp as needed for the access gateway aspect of it.
It is safe to delete everything below work and it doesn't require a restart of anything.
Just might be a hair slower the very first time it renders after that.

Thanks Will. Silly me didn't think of the work folder actually being
called 'work' 🙂
Cheers.

It's ok, the path is kinda confusing because of the symlinks in use.
