Multiple User Stores - based upon login page or other?

I've got a test NAM setup that needs to point to two diff. eDir stores.
One is "dev" and one is "test".

In the IDP it seems that you can only specify one default, and it's
global. Unfortunately the userids between the two eDir are almost the
same, just not the passwords.

Is it possible to either build a custom login page (and thus, a custom
contract/method, I think?) and assign ONE user store to each?

That way I can base it upon the URL's that are entered?

Yes. Under the local tab of the IDP configure both user stores.
The user store to use is specified in the method.
Create two methods one for each user store.
Create two contracts one for each method.
Protect your children {or dog 🙂 } to your heart's content.
