NAM 3.2 ProxyPass rule

Hi,

I need to replicate this proxy rule on NAM:

ProxyPass /GSA/kanadoc/
http://gsacontrol.vittoriaassicurazioni.it/kanadoc/
ProxyPassReverse /GSA/kanadoc/
http://gsacontrol.vittoriaassicurazioni.it/kanadoc/

How can I do?

thanks

I'm not really sure what you are asking here. Are you trying to copy an existing proxy or create
one with some requirement I'm not seeing? More infoooooo.

Re: NAM 3.2 ProxyPass rule

Thanks for reply.
This is a new integration between NAM and Web Application. End user call
the web application through this URL
"https://gsacontrol.vittoriaassicurazioni.it/kanadoc" protected by NAM
and it works fine. In back end, the web server has this URL
"https://x.x.x.x/GSA/kanadoc".
The question is: how can I make a proxy rule in NAM to do this
transformation:

URL called by end user
"https://gsacontrol.vittoriaassicurazioni.it/kanadoc" --> URL proxied in
back end "https://x.x.x.x/GSA/kanadoc"

thanks

I'm not seeing any difference between the two which is why I'm confused. The URLs are the same. It
wouldn't make sense to have two that do the exact same thing.

Re: NAM 3.2 ProxyPass rule

Hi Will,

the URLs are not the same. The Web Server contains application in a
directory called "GSA", so I call the web application behind NAM by the
URL http://gsacontrol.vittoriaassicurazioni.it/GSA/kanadoc.
If I call the web application through the Access Gateway, the URL must
be http://gsacontrol.vittoriaassicurazioni.it/kanadoc (without GSA
directory).

With a simple proxy, like Apache, I can do that inserting these
directives inside httpd.conf file:

ProxyPass /GSA/kanadoc/
http://gsacontrol.vittoriaassicurazioni.it/kanadoc/
ProxyPassReverse /GSA/kanadoc/
http://gsacontrol.vittoriaassicurazioni.it/kanadoc/

How can I do with Access Manager?

Re: NAM 3.2 ProxyPass rule

Oh, I see now. I was confused by you stating it twice in the previous posts.
What you are wanting to do is essentially an insert path on fill which is the opposite of the remove
path on fill option in the product.

Sadly it doesn't do this directly. You only option would be to perhaps use the custom rewritter but
I'm not 100% sure that would do it for you.
