I think the LAG Appliance and Service will both work as long as its
build locally with vmware and then imported it into AWS using the
command line tools. http://aws.amazon.com/ec2/vmimport/

Also, make sure you are using an AWS VPC so you can allocate the local
IP's.

As for original issue in this thread I still have not been able to get
the LAG service working on the standard AWS AMI.
